2024 Festival highlights

The absurd and unpredictable duo of Isaac Kessler and Ken Hall use high energy physicality to drive characters into absurd and surreal situations that are utterly jaw dropping. 2-MAN NO-SHOW attack every stage with their signature hyperphysical, hilarious and fourth-wall-breaking “ClownProv”-style that is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced.

Drum Machine is Jill Bernard's one-person sweepingly epic unscripted musical featuring multiple characters in scenes, monologues and songs accompanied by electronic drum beats or in collaboration with a musician. The show opens with a brief interview of an audience member, then Bernard creates a musical that weaves details of their life into a historical period suggested by the audience. DAMP is a team moist with experience, dripping with talent and spraying hilarity all over the floor. A fast paced, lightning quick team, DAMP slips and slides across the stage leaving a sopping trail of improv genius. They’re ready to lubricate your funny bone, and drench you with jokes, gags and bits. Careful in the splash zone, this act is guaranteed to wet your comedy whistle.

Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience is an improvised family sitcom inspired by your favourites from the 80s and 90s. We're taking the things you loved about Full House, Family Matters, Perfect Strangers, and other nostalgic TV shows and giving them a modern Canadian spin!

Wynn and Joshua are a comedy duo that uses improv to tell stories from their perspectives as first-generation immigrants. Join them as they celebrate their families, history and each other in a performance both silly and heartfelt!

Messy Structure is about two improv theatre actors, Krystal and Rich, who are also amateur ballet enthusiasts. Their goal is to find what connects their spontaneous made-up comedy acts and the structured art of the ballet classes they so enjoy. Can these two completely different art forms blend into one messy but structured piece?
