THURSDAY NIGHT
The festival opening night show is jam packed full of dynamic improv acts.
Ottawa favourites perform alongside some incredible troupes visiting from Montreal and Toronto. If you want to see a variety of hilarious, energetic acts, come watch this jam packed night of hilarity. This show is the most improv for your buck and won't dissapoint.
Highlights include improvised Hip Hop, an improvised musical and some of your favourite energetic Ottawa duos.
Josh & Josh (Ottawa)
A clown-ish, organically evolving show where two Joshuas are looking for new names to embody on stage. They love audience participation and their sets are full of mischief, physicality and energy.
Zero Chemistry (Ottawa)
Zero Chemistry is an improv duo based in theatrical improv. These performers use subtext, asides and world building to start a set with a little and expand it into a full blown universe.
Flying Panda Themepark (Ottawa)
Flying Panda Themepark get inventive. Their fomart is based on the "Everett Interpretation" based on the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, switching between two versions of the same story as they dramatically diverge from each other.
Reindeer Tornado (Toronto)
Reindeer Tornado is a longform Harold troupe, with creative power and world colliding potential. They bring a high energy physical style, with fluid organic openings and group games to intersperse between our beats and scenes. Expect high octane comedy and a good time.
